
Axiom’s custom e-learning programs are designed to engage the learner and maximize interactivity, thus driving learning outcomes. The primary instructional approach for Axiom e-learning lessons is a linear, interactive tutorial based on the instructional tactics known as “Gagne’s 9 Events of Instruction.” To further engage the learner and enhance retention of e-learning, Axiom often weaves contextual themes and character-based storylines throughout our programs.

The Axiom video-based simulation is a computer-driven program that provides a realistic test of knowledge as it sends the learner on a virtual call to a physician. Learners are challenged to use the appropriate sales tools and data when presenting a product information and responding to physician questions.
Axiom also develops programs to educate learners on the individual steps and components of devices. The content is presented in a manner that allows the learner to gain knowledge of a specific step or technology by viewing and interacting with an animation of the device. The learner then completes an application or practice exercise where they can “virtually” control the system in a safe environment to reinforce the content that was presented.

In the current healthcare environment, access to clinical settings for observation is restricted by HIPAA guidelines. Such restrictions limit the opportunity for sales representatives to observe relevant clinical environments and ask questions of healthcare professionals and patients.
